There are four convenient parking lots located just a short walk to Main Library:
- High & Market Deck (across from the Akron Art Museum)
- Super Block Garage.
- Cascade Parking Garage.
- John S. Knight Center Parking.
Are the Summit County libraries open?
All Summit County Library branches are now open for in-person browsing and computer use. After a year of curbside service,the Summit County Library has reopened its doors. In addition, the libraries have limited computer usage to 60 minutes per day.

If you need a library card, you can register online. A librarian will be in touch with your card number and PIN. If you already have a library card, your PIN is often the last 4 digits of your library card number. Wireless printing is now available at the Kimball Junction Branch.

- You must live, work, or attend school in Ohio to obtain a Stark Library card.
- With your eCard, you will have access to digital and online materials only.
- An eCard does not provide access to physical materials.
- Your eCard will expire in one year (if not converted to a full-service library card).
