What are the basic elements of fiction?

What do you prefer fiction or nonfiction?

I prefer both fiction and non-fiction books. Fiction is a mix of creativity and imagination. Fiction when written well can help us understand ourselves. Non-fiction is generally all about the harsh truths that still somehow prevail in the society.

Is reading fiction worth it?

tl;dr Fiction is worth reading because it allows you to live lives you wouldn’t be able to live, or wouldn’t even be able to think of, while reading just nonfiction. Fiction is adding a little “flavor* into your life. It’s not mandatory. It’s just highly recommended.

Are books a waste of money?

Books in general are not a waste of money, but it highly depends on what you’re doing. You are spending a very high amount of money while apprently having little to no savings and living at home. I’d rather save the money for moving out and use a library card.
