How do you speak in present tense?

How do you speak in present tense?

Strictly SpeakingThe present is used to form the present tense (I talk) and the future (I will talk). The present participle forms all six of the progressive forms (I am talking, I was talking, and so on).The past forms only one tense—you guessed it, the past (I talked).

Is past or present?

Verbs come in three tenses: past, present, and future. The past is used to describe things that have already happened (e.g., earlier in the day, yesterday, last week, three years ago). The present tense is used to describe things that are happening right now, or things that are continuous.

How do you change to be in present tense?

Change the past progressive version of the sentence to the present progressive. For example, changing “I was smiling” to “I am smiling” will change the past progressive tense to present progressive tense. Change the past perfect tense to the present perfect tense. Instead of “I had smiled,” write “I have smiled.”
